The bottom line, this putty works very well for all types of use and abuse. Soft placers, heavy placers, Putty Extraordinaire holds up. You can use it on ABs without ripping the coating off the drills, safe on drill coatings. Hate the stringy, gooey mess that ends up on the canvas and the drills, this formula is as close to mess free as any I've tried--and I've tried just about all of them. I was offered this putty by the individual that makes it, I could brand it with Diamond Art Emporium, name it, choose fragrances, it would be my exclusive putty. All I have to do is buy it from the maker, portion and package it, and then convince a bunch of diamond painters that it is different, it is better, it is durable and it just works.

I have had several avid diamond painters put it to the test, youtube creators and just regular daily diamond painters I know and trust to be honest with me, treat it badly, don't do anything other than stab it with your multi-placer to single placer and put it through a good workout. The results? Overwhelmingly positive, "one of the best I've tried", "dry enough that it doesn't get stringy and messy", "I even love the scent!" The same results I had when I used and attempted to abuse it, it just works, without the constant hassles that many putty offerings create.

The only thing I would suggest -- when you stab it? Go all the way through to the paper, pack it in as tightly as possibe, press it onto a hard surface and use your finger tip of a razor blade or scissors will work --get the putty level with the placer-don't gob it on. If you do, thats on you. Most people don't so it probably won't be a thing. I'll put a little reminder in the package for you.

I'm telling you, you will be pleased with this putty. I wouldn't be so arrogant to say it is the only putty you'll ever want to use -- it isn't, I still have others I continue to use, but it goes into the arsenal and its ready to work when you need it. Good putty, a decent price.
