Collection: Artpoptart
Making a living as an artist almost happened accidentally. I had been out of college for a few years and jumping from job to job unsatisfied when one night I decided to have fun and paint over an old painting I detested from school. I painted over it using spray paint and acrylic in gold and primary colors and it turned into sort of a geometric art deco inspired creation.
At the moment I prefer to work in mixed media with materials including magazine scraps and acrylic paint. I believe my art is unique because it’s never been done before. Of course collage work has been practiced for decades but combining it with paint to give precise edges that create a clean silhouette is brand new.
