Welcome to my blog!

With the whirlwind that has been my deep dive into diamond painting and my attempt to provide to you, fellow diamond painters, diamond artists, curious folks, friends and neighbors, with a Diamond Art resource.

It is not all about selling diamond painting kits, but about making new, fresh art available in diamond painting format, to make sure the artist is acknowledged and compensated for the time and effort to create the work, and all of that comes down to money.  Selling diamond painting kits is important to provide that incentive to artists to keep going.

I also want to make sure that art that appeals to the gay community, and probably gay men primarily, is available and being brought into the light where it belongs.  You'll see images of men kissing, naked butts, homo-erotic images that depict emotions that gay men understand, but feel unsure about how to handle, and of course some pretty funny shit about penises.  I don't take things too seriously, when it comes to people that are easily offended, I can just shrug and walk away.  I'm here to have a good time as much as anything, to interact with artists, to interact with art fans and diamond painting enthusiasts, and I'll toss in some bawdy comment from time to time, because that is just who I am.

I'm retired.  I have lived a pretty modest life and I didn't do this for the money, I am doing this because I am passionate about diamond painting and diamond art, to see people excited about an image that they will be working with, to help someone that got a bad deal and needs some DMC color 817 round diamonds to finish a kit that is untraceable, bought at a flea market, thrift store, or more commonly one of the nameless, faceless clone storefronts that carries 400 images identical to every other faceless clone storefront, relying upon a drop shipper in China to actually fulfil the order.

I will name names and call them out if I feel they are doing something shady, but this is not a revenge site or blog or business, this is an evolutionary step to make diamond painting and diamond art a household name-- I just know there are people that have never heard of it, but when they do their first kit, they'll be hooked, just like I was.

I am going to do my best to keep my personal beliefs out  of this.  Topics I will avoid: politics, religion, the best philly cheesesteak and sports.

Topics I will embrace:  Ways to make your diamond painting as enjoyable as possible, exciting new art that will be on its way to be rendered into diamond painting format, some artist profiles, some insider dirt on what you're being told and what is really the truth, how to cut financial corners and achieve similar results when it comes to workspaces, diamond storage, framing, cleaning, tools, accessories -- none of it geared toward making a sale--but making your diamond painting enjoyable and stress free and to encourage your to do it your way because....I will try to end each post with this.....

There are no rules in diamond painting.

I will be asking for feedback very soon, there are always decisions I need to make on my own, but there are also decisions I love to havde feedback on.  I'm going to go see if I can get comment's turned on, if you see a comment option, I was successful, let me know you are glad to see it.
